Bethany Ford,
Hello my name is Bethany and I qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Nottingham with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2008. Before joining the team at Prestons in 2011, I have worked in a variety of NHS and private settings in Nottinghamshire and most recently London where I have developed my skills with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions.
My additional qualifications include being a fully trained APPI Clinical Pilates instructor. I am able to provide one-to-one tuition and also to individuals in a group setting. I am dedicated to delivering a high standard of care with treatments supported by evidence based practice.
I use a variety of treatment modalities based on a clients individual presentation and needs including, joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques (including massage), exercise prescription, muscle balance techniques and advice and education about health and lifestyle. I thoroughly enjoy the nature and variety of my role at Prestons as it enables me to yield results and see their effects on a client’s day to day life.
